Availability
Imagine you want to manufacture a car. Imagine further that you have manufactured the engine, wheels and all the functional aspects of the car. Now that you have manufactured the car, what if the car does not start when you want to go out for work. So it is important that the AVAILABILITY parameter is considered for your product to get sold in the market
Capacity
You have now taken care of availability and the car starts whenever you want. But if you forget that you have four members in your family 🙂 and the car can accommodate only two people, this will not suffice the purpose and hence CAPACITY parameter is important
Continuity
While you have taken care of availability and capacity, imagine if your car is not available due to unavoidable reasons, how will you perform your duties? So it is important to consider CONTINUITY in order to ensure that you don't run out of Business due to unavailability of your car
Security
Now that you have taken care of your availability, capacity and continuity , can you imagine that anybody can get into your car and drive? It's a big NO, hence it is important that only the authorized people who have the keys should drive the car. SECURITY is vital

The CEO of a company wanted to retire and he decided to call his fellow subordinates and informed them that he is looking for his successor and gave one seed to each one of them and told them that they must grow this seed and the person who grows the seed into a nice plant will become the next CEO in next one year’s time. Each one of them were happy and were eager to become the new CEO.
Each one of them now started growing the seed. Everybody seemed cheerful at office expect for Sadashiv, his seed was not growing at all. His stress levels were going up as he was unable to enjoy the discussions which his colleagues were having about how their plant was growing. Six months passed by and he was even more stressed, he tried all possible options like changing the water, compost, mud, pot etc but in vain. Now he was confused, however with his wife’s moral support, he decided to stay sincere.
A year passed by and the CEO called a meeting with all the fellow members. Sadashiv decided to take back seat as he knew that he had failed miserably. CEO after listening to all fancy stories, turned his attention to Sadashiv and asked him why he looked so disappointed. Sadashiv was almost about to cry but he managed to reply to the CEO that he had miserably failed.
And here comes the surprise. The CEO addressed all his fellow members and informed that he had given dead seeds to all of them and only Sadashiv was sincere enough and hence he is the new CEO.
Moral of the story : Each one of us is the CEO of our own life. We must realize our strengths and we must be sincere enough in leading our life.
